Hamburg II ESS, LLC is two (2) co-located ESS projects planned for this site: Hamburg II East and Hamburg II West. This project is a 10-megawatt (MW) LFP Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located at 6433 Railroad Ave, Lakeview, NY 14085. The Project as designed consists of ten (10) Tesla Megapack XL units located within a fenced-off area of 0.324 acres. Construction of the BESS involves laydown of a gravel surface within the fenceline, delivery and installation of the battery units and supporting equipment, and an access road. A landscape buffer consisting of deciduous and evergreen trees will screen the system from view.

The Project has received an interconnection study from National Grid that confirms available capacity. The battery system will be connected to the electric power grid via the existing Lakeview substation on  Lakeview Road , located 0.3 miles from the project parcel. Access to the site will be constructed off Lakeview Road.

Partnering with America's firefighters

Strong partnerships with fire departments and fire protection experts are essential for each project. While the development of battery energy storage systems is growing, RIC Energy is offering training to full time and volunteer fire departments.

Attendees speak highly of the training staff, all former firefighters and lithium-iron experts who regularly train municipal firefighters on emergency procedures.
